Infinity Photo Solutions utilizes camera scanning to provide the best quality scans of your precious photographs. What exactly is camera scanning? It's a technique using a high-megapixel DSLR camera, a macro lens, special lighting, a copy stand, and an array of other professional tools to produce high-quality digital files of your printed photos, negatives, slides, and documents. Using modern digital cameras surpasses the image quality of traditional scanners, so we are able to provide you with superior quality images for you and your family to enjoy and share for generations.
Archival Scanning Services Include:
All items managed locally at our studio
All items scanned with a 50 megapixal camera to create images with superior resolution
All prints scanned in order and returned in same order as received when requested
Post-scan image enhancement applied, as needed
Scanned images rotated to the correct orientation
Images filed in an organized folder structure with meaningful file names
Capture date changes to reflect the date (actual or estimated) when photos were taken
Infinity & Beyond (Add-on Services):
Remove photos from albums/frames and reassemble after scanning
Remove plastic covers from scrapbook pages and reassemble after scanning
Select photos to scan and remove potentially unwanted photos such as duplicates, blurry photos, scenery pics, etc
Additional cleaning of very dusty photos before scanning
Edit scans (red-eye removal, additional color adjustments, etc)
Digitally restore badly damaged photos
Add additional metadata such as people, keywords, descriptions, etc
Upload to cloud storage
Organize original prints in labeled archival box(es) or envelopes/sleeves
